School Specialty will be showcasing a variety of furniture & equipment offerings for 21st Century Learning environments at the Education Market Association’s EDspaces conference. The conference and expo will take place November 2-4, 2016 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, OH.
As the Silver Sponsor of EDspaces, School Specialty will host a complimentary Wi-Fi hotspot on the show floor (Booth #1214). This “Wi-Fi Lounge,” which will serve as a wireless hotspot for up to 30 users at a time, will simulate a technology-enabled learning commons area in a modern high school, and will include a range of innovative furnishings from School Specialty and its vendor partners. Products to be showcased include mobile furniture items, which can be reconfigured into a variety of formations to support diverse teaching and learning styles, café style seating, and soft seating, which allows students to remain comfortable and enhances their enjoyment at school. Attendees can take a break from exhibits to check in with the outside world in the Wi-Fi Lounge while learning more about the industry-leading products offered by School Specialty.
Jason DeWeerd, Vice President of Sales at School Specialty, commented, “We are excited to once again serve as the Silver Sponsor at EDspaces this year, and to highlight modern furniture & equipment solutions that support 21st Century Learning at the Wi-Fi Lounge. The products that we will be showcasing will provide attendees with insight into the needs of the 21st Century Learning environment, as well as the benefits of cutting-edge, proprietary furniture and equipment for the modern student. School Specialty maintains partnerships with the vast majority of vendors exhibiting at the event, and we believe the Wi-Fi Lounge will therefore serve as a comprehensive educational resource on how to enable 21st Century Learning success through deployment of the right furniture and equipment solutions.”
