Get ready for a week of fun with Week of the Young Child®! Between April 6th and 12th, 2024, we’re celebrating and honoring children and all those who make a difference in their lives.
Week of the Young Child, organized by NAEYC®, is an opportunity for early childhood programs across the country, including childcare and Headstart programs, preschools, and elementary schools, to hold activities that bring awareness to the needs of young children.

Tasty Tuesday – April 9th
Cooking with family is a great way to connect math with literacy skills and science while incorporating healthy lifestyle habits.
Work Together Wednesday – April 10th
Building and creating together gives children the opportunity to experience teamwork along with developing social and early literacy skills.
Artsy Thursday – April 11th
Open-ended art projects in which children make choices and use their imaginations help develop creativity, social skills, and fine motor skills.
Family Friday – April 12th
Engage parents and families in supporting our youngest learners and enabling them to grow and succeed in all stages of life.
