Our shivers are inspired by more than this evocative, woodsy, winter scene. We’re also in awe of the eight-year-old artist, Gabriella Sciarretto. Yes, that’s right! Gabriella created this paper-on-wood piece, titled Moose In Winter Woods, as a second grader! And we’re not the only ones who are impressed. Suzanne Dionne, Gabriella’s art teacher at Rotella Interdistrict Magnet School in Waterbury, CT, liked the seasonal piece so much that she submitted it for consideration for our catalog cover. When Gabriella is not creating spectacular art pieces, she also enjoys swimming and dancing, but we think her artistic talent is going to continue to snowball!
Sax has featured inspired works of student art on our catalog covers for years. From Gabriella’s piece to watercolors, oils, and mixed-media pieces from students around the country, we’ve featured dozens of amazing student-art pieces by artists in elementary school all the way through high school. For a sampling of some of the inspirational works we’ve featured on our recent catalog covers, visit our student art Pinterest board!
