For the 12th year in a row, we are honored to host the Crystal Apple Awards, a national search for teachers who go above and beyond for their students and school communities. Whether it’s a teacher who sparked a lifelong love of learning or a colleague who supports everyone around them, now is your chance to give them the recognition they deserve.
Why Nominate?
Being nominated for a Crystal Apple Award is a powerful way to say “thank you” to an educator who often feels overwhelmed or underappreciated. Beyond the public recognition, there are amazing prizes for both the teacher and their school:
- 11 Finalists will receive a certificate and $200 in School Specialty merchandise certificates ($100 for the teacher, $100 for the school).
- 5 Winners (chosen by public vote!) will receive a personalized trophy and $750 in School Specialty gift certificates ($500 for the teacher, $250 for the school).
How to Nominate Your Favorite Educator
Submitting a nomination is quick and easy:

- Tell Their Story: In 300 words or less, share why this educator deserves the 2026 Crystal Apple Award.
- Upload a Photo: Share a picture of the nominee (please ensure no students are visible in the background for privacy).
