School Specialty® and the College Football Playoff Foundation® (CFPF) share a common goal to improve educator resources and provide children with better learning opportunities. This mission is supported by both organizations through CFPF’s Extra Yard for Teachers® program. This time, we headed to Houston, Texas, to transform an art room for Highland Heights Elementary School!
Highland Heights is a PreK-5 elementary school in the Houston Independent School District. They envision an environment where “students will depart our institution and be sufficiently equipped to solve tomorrow’s problems effectively.” School Specialty and CFPF are proud to help them embody this mission by providing a new art room to help their students develop the skills today that will drive them to consider creative solutions tomorrow.
This art room transformation is just one of over 50 collaborations between School Specialty and CFPF across 13 states. School Specialty and our Projects by Design® experts worked with the school to design a space to best support their needs. Our goal is to complement the school’s style of teaching and learning with a contemporary, welcoming space that drives outcomes.
