What better way to kick off the first month of 2026 than with Crayola Creativity Week? This year, the annual event will take place starting on Monday, January 26th and run through Sunday, February 1nd. The theme this year is “Color Inspires Creativity”. The theme will be supported by daily lessons and activities including celebrity presentations, downloadable materials, and even a worldwide assembly event!
Crayola, School Specialty, and the other sponsors have put an amazing lineup together for Crayola Creativity Week! Each day features a different creative theme and features some well-known faces to guide you through them.

- Saturday, January 31: EMPOWERING COMMUNITITES with actor Michael Rainey Jr. and illustrator Rob Flowers
- Sunday, February 1: STORYTELLING ADVENTURES with Bluey artists Jasmine “Jazz” Moody & Nick Rees and wildlife conservationist Bindi Irwin

What to expect during Crayola Creativity Week
The week will feature a selection of educational videos, art activities with downloadable resources and corresponding teacher materials, a virtual assembly event, and daily prizes. The content is aligned with the Education Standards in 15 countries, and we expect participants from 100 countries. The content will be translated into 8 different languages!
The provided lessons and activities can be incorporated into your classroom routine in just 30 minutes a day. The content is completely “turnkey”! Just download the student handouts and the teacher’s guide (which includes background information about the day’s theme and tips on how to prepare for the lesson).
You’ll have the opportunity for your students to connect with students from other schools around the world during the Global School Assembly Event live stream! Teachers who post student artwork online with our hashtag have a chance to win books, art supplies, guitars, lounge makeovers, etc. Sweepstakes are open globally.
