What better way to kick off the first month of 2025 than with Crayola Creativity Week? This year, the annual event will take place starting on Monday, January 27th and run through Sunday, February 2nd. The theme this year is “Imagination in Action”. The theme will be supported by daily lessons and activities including celebrity presentations, downloadable materials, and even a worldwide assembly event!
Crayola, School Specialty, and the other sponsors have put an amazing lineup together for Crayola Creativity Week! Each day features a different creative theme and features some well-known faces to guide you through them.

- Tuesday, January 28: CHANGE & COLLABORATION with author and actor Henry Winkler, author Lin Oliver, and illustrator Dan Santat

- Thursday, January 30: CONFIDENCE SOARS with author and actor Phillipa Soo, author Maris Pasquale Doran, and illustrator Qin Leng
- Friday, January 31: FLOWS LIKE WATER with author and U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón, illustrator Peter Sís, and NASA Scientists
- Saturday, February 1: BEE-LIEVE IN YOUR FUTURE with author and 19-year-old entrepreneur Mikaila Ulmer
- Sunday, February 2: CONQUER FEARS with author and actor Max Greenfield and illustrator James Serafino
What to expect during Crayola Creativity Week
The week will feature a selection of educational videos, art activities featuring downloads and corresponding teacher resources, a virtual assembly event, and daily prizes. The content is aligned to the Education Standards in 15 countries and we are expecting participants in 100 countries. The content will be translated into 8 different languages!
The provided lessons and activities can be incorporated into your classroom routine in just 30 minutes a day. The content is completely “turnkey”! Just download the student handouts and the teacher’s guide (which includes background information about the day’s theme and tips on how to prepare for the lesson).
You’ll have the chance for your students to connect with other schools all around the world during the Virtual Assembly Event live stream! Teachers who post student artwork online with our hashtag, have a chance to win books, art supplies, guitars, lounge makeovers, etc. Sweepstakes are open globally.
